Best Price Driving School is licensed by the Traffic Safety Bureau and offers students 30 hours of classroom instruction and 7 hours behind-the-wheel driving. Public high schools in New Mexico offer only classroom work. Best Price Driving School is committed to teaching the most dynamic multi-media curriculum in the State of New Mexico. The course was designed by certified DWI and Driver Improvement and aggressive driving instructors and educators who both have Master’s Degrees and a combined 28 years of teaching, counseling and administration experience.
Classroom Segment
The Traffic Safety Bureau is requiring that all students under the age of eighteen, who apply for a first-time New Mexico Drivers License take this class. This course will cover DWI Education and Prevention, defensive driving, rules and regulations, and most importantly, the psychological attitude of being a good driver.

PERMITS:
LEARNER PERMIT: If you are fifteen years of age and enrolled in our driver education program you will receive a learner permit. This will allow you to drive with a licensed driver over the age of 21 and who has been licensed for a minimum of 3 years. You must hold this permit for a minimum of 6 months and complete 50 hours of driving, including 10 hours after dark.
PROVISIONAL LICENSE: When a student has had a learner permit for 6 months, and has successfully completed our driver education program, and logged 50 hours of driving, they may apply for a provisional license. The provisional license will allow a student to drive alone between the hours of 5 am and Midnight, with the limitation that not more than one person under the age of 21 who is not a member of the driver’s immediate family be in the vehicle. Provisional license must be held for one year and is issued by MVD.
FULL LICENSE: A full license will be issued by MVD after completing the above requirements.
